Song Duk Ho has apologized for his military enlistment evasion controversy.
As previously reported, reports revealed Song Duk Ho was forced to step down from the cast of the upcoming drama 'Beneficial Fraud' due to issues with his military enlistment. In response, his label Bistus Entertainment released a statement confirming Song Duk Ho's evasion of his military duties.
The statement says, "Song Duk Ho was looking online for information to postpone his military enlistment in the summer of last year. After getting a consultation through 'A's blog, he made the wrong decision and got a Grade 4 (non-active duty) military assessment as a public service worker in an illegal way instead of delaying his enlistment, which was his initial goal."
Bistus Entertainment continued, "Song Duk Ho is currently undergoing a police investigation, and he'll participate in the remaining prosecution investigations as well. We're deeply reflecting on this incident and sincerely apologize to the many people who are disappointed."
Song Duk Ho made his debut in the 2018 movie 'Burning', and he's since starred in dramas like 'Hospital Playlist', 'Taxi Driver', 'D.P.', and 'Missing: The Other Side 2'.

Ah an idiot. Our people will never forgive him. I do understand why a celebrity with a big career ahead of them might do this . But for me a regular Korean guy it's not worth the risks. He has money etc so he could afford a good lawyer and maybe get a reduction in penalties. Whereas us regular guys don't have that kind of money and would get royally fucked if we got caught up in this stuff 5 yrs in jail plus a big fine and then a re enlistment for us. Military service is a big fuckin deal here, he Will be lucky if people don't spit on him when he gets out of jail.
