Lee Seung Gi has donated over $400K to celebrate his birthday.

On January 13, reports revealed Lee Seung Gi delivered 550 million Won ($442,641.98 USD) in subsidies to the Korean Red Cross. The donation will be used to produce mobile school meals in the midst of disaster relief activities and blood donation buses to resolve blood shortages.

At the delivery ceremony, the chairman of the Korean Red Cross Shin Hee Young awarded Lee Seung Gi a certificate to join the Red Cross Honors Club, which is comprised of donors who've contributed a high value to the organization.

Lee Seung Gi expressed, "I decided to support victims and relief workers at disaster sites across the country, such as forest fires and floods, with warm meals. I personally confirmed the blood shortages at medical sites in line with the recent COVID-19 resurgence, and I hope that collective blood donations can happen through blood donation buses."
