In Japan, Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, is one of the most popular K-pop idols and has proven his talent as a singer, actor, and versatile multi-entertainer. Therefore, it’s no surprise that his photobook is flying off the bookshelves.

Taehyung's photo-folio "Veautiful Days" was recently unveiled in celebration of his upcoming birthday and is described as his own glamorous vision of the life of a 19th-century gentleman.

Japanese actor Shinya Niiro, known for his roles in Japanese dramas such as Kamen Raidâ Kiba and Ride or Die, confessed that despite being a longtime BTS fan, he hadn’t spent a single yen on BTS merch until he saw Taehyung's photo-folio.

Since pre-orders began on December 9, his photo-folio has been receiving love in Japan and has topped best-seller rankings on their most popular e-commerce sites.

In Rakuten, Japan’s largest Internet shopping mall, 'Veautiful Days' ranked first in the sales rankings in the photo book category.

In Universal Music Store Japan, 'Veautiful Days' ranked first in the best-seller ranking and second on the search ranking. 

In Yahoo Japan, 'Veautiful Days' also ranked first in the best-seller ranking among K-pop goods.

Japan's enthusiastic response to Taehyung's photo-folio was similarly witnessed two months ago when he appeared as the cover star for the October issue of Vogue Korea. 

Taehyung received special treatment, and the largest physical bookstores in Japan organized gallery-like exhibitions to display the six versions of his Vogue Korea covers.

'Veautiful Days' special 8 photo-folio is currently available for pre-order through the Weverse Shop and will start global shipping on December 23.
