'The Astronaut' co-written and co-produced by Jin, keeps proving itself as a total hit. The song is still on the Billboard charts after 3 weeks. 

In the first week, Jin set a record for the highest debut sales for a K-pop solo artist in history, scoring 66k units. He sold over 44k in the USA, according to Billboard, and was the fastest to reach 100k units sold. He also holds the highest Billboard Hot100 debut in K-pop soloists' history despite not having any radio points and competing with the most successful artists in the USA.

In his own country, he is also the fastest person to sell 1M physical albums. As well as in Japan. Jin was topping the Oricon (first foreign artist in 11 years) and Hanteo charts for weeks, the first to do so.

This week, he set a new record -  he became the first K-pop solo artist to stay #1 on the Billboard World Digital Songs Sales chart for 3 weeks this decade! And the second overall, since only PSY did that back in 2013.

It also became the longest-charting song by a K-Pop solo act on Billboard US Digital Song Sales Chart with 3 consecutive weeks. It shows that the song is being downloaded a lot and demonstrated the big popularity of it.
