ITZY have set a personal record with their latest album, signaling the group's successful anticipated return!
On July 15 KST, ITZY made their anticipated comeback with the group's 5th mini-album 'CHECKMATE' along with the release of the music video for the title track "Sneakers". According to the Hanteo chart, the album sold a total of 251,509 copies sold on its first day of release.
With this, 'CHECKMATE' has become ITZY's best-selling album in first-day sales. Their recent album almost quadrupled the sales 'Guess Who' had accumulated on the first day of its release (64,119 copies), showcasing the group's growth.
