BLACKPINK's Lisa shared her journey of becoming one of the most popular female idols.
On July 15th, fashion magazine 'Marie Claire Korea' revealed Lisa's pictorial for the French luxury brand 'Celine'. Lisa's interview was also revealed with the stunning pictures of her. She said she always loved singing and dancing. Lisa's mother noticed her daughter's interest and talent early on, so Lisa started learning choreography when she was just 5 years old.
During the interview, Lisa reminisced about her trainee days saying it wasn't easy but she was confident she would debut because she believed in members who trained with her. She showed her competitiveness by saying she actually enjoyed monthly tests at YG Entertainment.
Regarding her solo album, Lisa said she was worried at first but she soon gained confidence after multiple practices and she's now content with the result of her solo activities.

Lots of idols begin training at a very early age. Some begin playing instruments at 3 or 4, some train in dance, ballet, singing, etc., so this is not uncommon at all. Actual training to become an idol can begin at age 10, 11, 12 or 13. The headline seems to make it sound like she began her actual idol training at age 5, so it's a little click-baitish.
