K-pop fans were given quite the surprise when they saw recent pictures of two top idols together.
On June 26 KST, DJ/musician Kirioka from CMYK took to his personal Instagram to share a group photo taken after a dinner party hosted by U.S. contemporary artist Tom Sachs, who is currently in Seoul for a number of exhibitions. Among the people in the group photo, BTS's J-Hope and BIGBANG's G-Dragon can be seen.
As this is the first time the two have been seen together, many netizens wondered if they were friends and what special occasion brought them together. Comments on online community board Instiz included, "What kind of combination is this?," "Did they go to a Nike exhibition?," and "It seems like they both went to the Tom Sachs exhibition." Others commented on how exciting it was to see the two stars together, while others pointed out that Suga had also been there too, writing, "Suga and J-Hope both went to the Tom Sachs exhibition lol. Suga being not there [in the picture] is really Suga-like."
During the same event, Tom Sachs posted his own photos from the event, this time featuring a number of famous faces, including Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Sik, G-Dragon, Lee Chung Ha, AOA's Seolhyun, Jung Yu Mi, and Ryu Jun Yeol. One netizen who shared the photo on Instiz teased that G-Dragon is seen at "20% opacity," making fun of how he might be difficult to spot in the photo right away.
Meanwhile, the Tom Sachs' 'Space Program: Indoctrination' exhibition will be shown from June 22 - August 7 at Art Sonje Center, 'Boom Retrospective' will be shown from June 22 - September 11 at HYBE INSIGHT, and 'Rocket Factor Paintings' will be shown at Thaddaeus Ropac Seoul from June 25 - August 20.
So many people in there but the article want to make it look like it was just the two of them. Lol. They don't even have a photo together.
