The Apink members participated in the latest pictorial for UNIFORM Magazine, becoming the first K-pop group to appear in a digital magazine in China.
In the pictorial, the members show off their bold and confident characters.The group spoke about their 11-year journey and more in their interview for the magazine.
In particular, all the members spoke about their 11th Anniversary fan song (I Want You to Be Happy), which was penned by all the members. They expressed their views on how they approached and what motivated them to write the lyrics for the song.
Chorong said that she wrote the chorus part of the song. She further mentioned that she put the emotions she felt during the 'Dilemma' promotions in writing this fan song.
Bomi said that the love she received for the past 11years helped her write the song's lyrics.
Eunji said, "Although Panda's (Apink's fan club name) have been with us all along, they must have had some troubles too, but I think they've always been like a miracle and cool existence to me. So I took those stories of miracles through the time and wrote them into lyrics".
She further said, "On the days that have passed, we have shown our bright side while the dark side of it is well hidden. That part of it is our secret but also our growth".
Namjoo said that the song contains Apink's true feelings. She wrote the lyrics, “You & I face new days everyday. There's only endless ending left. I'll promise you, I won't let you go forever.”
Hayoung said that she wrote the lyrics thinking about Apink, who also had sad parts which only they knew about.
In the end, all the members unanimously said that 'They were able to reach this far only because of Panda's and they will repay them with great performances in the future.'
