MBC's 'Tomorrow' dips low in viewership ratings despite star-studded cast members

AKP STAFF

The viewership ratings of MBC's drama series 'Tomorrow' plunged from 7.6% to 2.5%.

According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of the series started with 7.6% in nationwide viewership ratings, however, the latest episode of the series only recorded 2.5% in nationwide viewership ratings.

'Tomorrow' is a fantasy drama telling the story of Choi Joon Woong and grim reapers. Kim Hee Sun plays the role of the head director of grim reapers and Rowoon plays the role of human Choi Joon Woong. The cast lineup includes Lee Soo Hyuk, Kim Hae Sook, and more, who are well known for their acting performances.

However, despite the star-studded cast, more than half of the viewers dropped out from watching the series.

Meanwhile, 'Tomorrow' airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:55 PM KST.

This show is amazing. It never fails to make me cry. I guess it's just too intense for some people and they'd rather watch feel good shows.

I like this show, the acting is amazing and the cast members are great as well. They tackle real life issues in each episode such as bullying for example. So I don't understand why it keeps dipping in views.... usually dramas from webtoons do well, it sucks to see this happening.
