Suzy shared her thoughts and various stories behind her first song release in about four years.
On the 17th, fashion magazine Marie Claire released a pictorial of Suzy, who decorated the cover of the April issue.
In the pictorial, Suzy made fans' hearts flutter with her fresh spring look and short bang hairstyle. Suzy showed off a chic yet sophisticated look by matching a white blouse, denim skirt, and black boots. She also showed off dynamic charms wearing colorful outfits as well.
Suzy recently made her comeback as a solo singer after four years with the release of her single 'Satellite' last month. In an interview with the magazine, she shared, "It's a process of finding out what you like," and explained about her new song.
She is also known to have participated in writing the lyrics for this song and said, "In this song, I wanted to capture a mood rather than a clear and distinct message. I thought about the things that are constantly out of reach but that float around me like the characteristics of a satellite."
Then, about the music video, where dancer Monica participated and became a topic of discussion as much as the music, "I liked 'Street Woman Fighter', but seeing Monica's dance, I felt like her dance was my 'muse'. It's difficult to improvise the whole song, but she danced differently every time. It was hard to choose a cut because of the dance. It was the best way to express this song.”
More pictorials and interview videos of Suzy can be found in the April issue of Marie Claire and on the Marie Claire website.
I really like her song Satellite. Her voice suits the song perfectly.
