MLD Entertainment reaffirmed there was no rigging in the survival program 'Finding Momoland'.
Back on January 7th, 2020, the entertainment news sector of KBS released an exclusive report raising suspicions of rigging against Mnet's 'Finding Momoland', which aired back in 2016. On December 27th, 2021, MLD Entertainment issued an official statement denying this allegation after going through the legal process.
Below is the full statement from MLD Entertainment.
"Hello, this is MLD Entertainment.
Back on January 7th, 2020, 'KBS News9' has reported that Mnet's 'Finding Momoland', which aired back in 2016 for two months starting in July, was in fact rigged and we have acknowledged the manipulation.
We have reached out to the court and media arbitration committee through our legal team demanding KBS to issue an apology and clarification of the foul report.
The court sided with us and on this past 25th, KBS clarified the initial report at the end of their broadcast.
We are once again notifying that there was no manipulation in selecting members of Mnet's 'Finding Momoland'. Thank you to everyone who believed and supported us."
okay so I'm not really siding with anyone but didn't one of the former members of the group say she knew she was going to be in the group before it was announced so either she's lying or the company's lying I don't think we'll ever find out really
