BTS's Jin is known as a kind and thoughtful personality. More than that, his friendly attitude extends not only to people but also to animals. Recently the topic of Jin's deep love for animals became a topic that gained attention on Twitter.

Jin used to have a cute dog named Jjangu.

Back in the days, Jin also used to have two cute sugar gliders Eomuk and Odeng that he was treating very gently. Sugar gliders are a kind of animal that is hard to look after. Adopting them requires being ready to take a huge responsibility for their precious lives. Jin shared that he was afraid of showing his sugar gliders to fans at first because young people might want to adopt them as well because of their immense cuteness. However, Jin said that "These are lives, so we have to think about them carefully, and only raise them if we are sure that we can take responsibility."

When BTS participated in the RUN BTS that included a competition between dogs, Jin's understanding attitude was demonstrated again. His dog named Adam was quite lazy and didn't want to complete the tasks. However, Jin didn't get angry with Adam, didn't scold him, nor blame for not being as good as the rest of the dogs. Jin calmed Adam down by petting his head gently and saying that he understood how challenging the tasks were.

Another example of Jin's immense love for animals is his first self-produced song named "Tonight."  This beautiful track is dedicated to the animals that Jin used to have. The lyrics are so sad and deep that you would not even think that it's not written about a person:

"When this night passes
I'm afraid I won't be able to see you
The utterly clear gaze
The touch I got too used to
The face that smiled at me
Will I be unable to see you again anymore?

When I close my eyes
I feel like it will remind me of the times that we were together
When I close my eyes
I feel like I will think of only the happy memories again."

Jin considers pets as his life partners that give him their love and support. Just as the fox in the "Little Prince" tale said: "You are responsible, forever, for what you have tamed."
