It all started when the show's panel consisting of HaHa, Yoon Jong Shin and controversial figure Shin Jung Hwan.
They started talking about Shin Jung Hwan's Korean shaved iced shop in Singapore and how he had tried to get celebrities to come down and make appearances. Kim Jong Kook was one of the celebrities who he had approached because he was younger than him.
At the time, Kim Jong Kook had politely declined the offer by saying "let's connect later." It was later found out that Shin Jung Hwan and Kim Jong Kook hadn't seen or talked to each other in 10 years.
As the conversation went on, they had decided to get Kim Jong Kook onto the show, and Shin Jung Hwan asked HaHa if Kim Jong Kook changed his number or not. And HaHa, without hesitation gave him Kim Jong Kook's new number.
Netizens who saw the video, began to criticise HaHa for selling his friend out.
As the panel began to try and convince him to come out onto the show, Shin Jung Hwan began to ask Kim Jong Kook for money. Kim Jong Kook wittily got out of the situation by telling them "if I give you 7 million won, will you delete my number also?"
As they tried to negotiate further, Kim Jong Kook once again wittily said "500 won, and I will use the gangster I know."
The post that began trending on theqoo, also brought up Kim Jong Kook's thoughts about loyalty.
"I've been around for 25 years now, but my thoughts have constantly changed, from my 20s, to 30s and now my 40s.
When I was in my 20s, I thought that who cares if I was celebrity? As long as I was happy, I would continue to do whatever I wanted to do. I didn't care about how anyone else thought of me. All I had to do was to be a good person, and if the people around me liked me, then the way I behaved was correct.
But at some point, I realised that I had to pay attention to other people's opinions about me. (There are more younger fans now)
If the way I acted, could be misunderstood, then I shouldn't continue to do it. Even if it's my habit, I have to be more careful and try to be more careful.
I'm saying this because at the time, when I invited MC Mong as a guest to my concert, I thought that it'd only be between us. But in the end, there was a lot of talk about it.
Even if I thought it was a good stage, other people may not think the same way. It is very difficult to live as a good celebrity.
Although it's hard, I think that I still want to continue to try. Firstly, I want to be a good man, and then be a good entertainer who continues to work hard. I will try to be more careful to be mindful about other people's opinion about me.
I hope today's performance will remain as a good memory for you guys. If I happen to make a mistake or show a bad side of myself, the good memories you had of me will become meaningless. It doesn't seem much, but it's probably the only way I can thank all of you."
As soon as the post got posted onto theqoo, netizens began to express their disappointment in HaHa and the rest of the panel.
Netizen comments:

- Kim Jong Kook is a person who works hard.
- I felt so sad for Kim Jong Kook
- HaHa, what are you doing?
- I'm so disappointed in HaHa
- What is HaHa doing? Are you that close to Shin Jung Hwan? You also talked about Yoo Jae Suk and Kim Jong Kook.
- What Kim Jong Kook said at his concert was so cool.
- I know that Kim Jong Kook is nice and kind to the people around him, but isn't it unfair to take advantage of him like this?
- Why did HaHa go after Kim Jong Kook?
No matter how close you are, it's rude to give out someone's number without asking them first.
