On this week's episode of KBS2's 'Music Bank,' various artists made a comeback with new songs and performances. However, IU and BTS were nominated as the winners for this week and it was BTS's "Dynamite" that took the win.
As "Dynamite" takes another win on a music show, it became the song with the most number of music show wins in history. This record was formerly held by Shin Seung Hoon's song "Invisible," with 31 music show wins from 1991 to 1992. BTS surpassed this record as they took their 32nd music show win. Shin Seung Hoon also held the record for most albums sold by a Korean artist with 17 million albums sold in his career, but that record was also recently surpassed by BTS.
Korean netizens were impressed with the boy group's win since "Dynamite" had been released a while back. Netizens gathered to an online community to praise the group as they commented, "The song is still exciting," "Wow, I can't believe they got to number 1 again after such a long time," BTS is amazing," "The song is still on the top ranking on instiz and gaon chart every week," and "You never get tired of this song."
ULTIMATE KINGS OF KPOP proving once again why they deserve *and have to* be regarded as such👑 Tons of groups with much longer careers tried to beat this record but failed miserably... After fruitless attempts, a group from a nugu *nearly bankrupted* company had to come on the scene to *finally* show to their sunbaenims how it's done!!👏 BTS are REAL HEROES! It's time for everyone to accept it!🤓
