Big Hit Entertainment updated fans on BTS SUGA's ongoing hiatus.
After reports of SUGA filming a CF with BTS, fans have been wondering if it meant he would be ending his hiatus, which began following his shoulder surgery this past November. On December 22, Big Hit Entertainment clarified, "Apart from the revealed schedule, we're not confirming anything else. We ask for your understanding."
The label previously stated, "SUGA decided to get an operation after a long discussion with the company. He judged that it was important to make himself healthy to fulfill the military duties that will come after his activities as a singer. SUGA's recovery has yet to be determined."
SUGA's shoulder issues began in 2012 after he was injured in an accident, and he was diagnosed with a dislocated shoulder in 2013. His shoulder pains continued until he was diagnosed with a posterior labral tear of his left shoulder in 2019.

Although I do think the CF could mark an end of Suga's hiatus from promotions, we armys cannot be completely sure; it could be a necessary or a beneficial one for all the seven members to participate.
Either way, I hope for a quick recovery for Yoongi, and to see all the members performing together again.
