From artworks to accessories to clothes and even books, V of BTS has time and again proven his “Midas Touch” by selling out a variety of items.
The latest addition to the list is V’s individual merchandise from BTS’s Map Of The Soul:7 tour collection.
According to various Korean media outlets, V’s “Concept Photo: Jigsaw Puzzle” from BTS’s tour merchandise collection was an instant hit. Reportedly, it reigned on the best-seller list for four days straight.
Travel News Korea reported: “After pre-orders for BTS’s Jigsaw Puzzle began, V's Jigsaw Puzzle topped the bestseller list for four days in the sales section of Yes 24.”
YBS뉴스통신 added on V setting another sales record and said: “The popularity of V’s Jigsaw Puzzle is not surprising as he has shown extraordinary ripple effects by selling out all of his collaboration products such as perfume and dolls, books and brooches.”
The sales of V’s official merchandise from the widely anticipated tour has also become a global hot topic.
Earlier last week, international media outlet: The Live Mirror reported on V being the first BTS member to sell out five items from the official tour merchandise collection on BTS’s Japanese Fan-club.
As per the article, V set the record for selling out the badge set, image picket, keyring, initial letter key ring, and premium photo. They wrote: “While other BTS group members boast a large fan following of their own, it is V’s followers who often make the biggest contribution.”
Econo Times also highlighted V‘s latest achievement and said: “He continues to make new records not just for his songs but by selling out merchandise.”
Aside from being the promotional king for freelancers and small businesses, V steadily remains as a significant contributor to the sales of BTS’s official merchandise as well.
