I only hope that the specifics of this competition by BHE are clear in terms of the ownership of the songs submitted. Like if in the future, BHE uses the submissions for its song releases, i hope that it gives proper credit/compensation to these writers/producers.

Back then when Korean Producers like Lee Sang Min wanted his group to debut in USA, he had to beg and pay MC Hammer lots of money and got scammed when the USA side kept delaying and spending money in hotels and others, until Lee Sang Min lost a lot of money and went bankrupt later.

now with better K-pop awareness and fame, Korean producers like Big Hit has better bargaining chip, to ask for audtion to evaluate who to work with.

i think a lot has changed for K-pop once the world admits they are influential. i think its all due to the hard work and sacrifice of those who went and tried before them, BoA, Seven, Wonder Girls, CL, Girls Generation etc and a lot more whom i may not have known.
