On March 8, Seventeen spent time with their beloved fans Carats during day 1 of their 3rd domestic fan meeting, 'Seventeen in Carat Land'!
The boys put on a memorable fan meeting full of fun, laughs, games, and more, and during one special stage, members Seungkwan and Mingyu performed a dramatic(?) cover of "My I", originally a unit song by Jun and The8.
The concept of Seungkwan and Mingyu's cover stage seemed to be a fierce battle of sorts between the two, as the two members continued glaring at each other throughout the dance, using a long, stretchy rubber band. At the end of the performance, Seungkwan says into the microphone, "You need to keep your expression until the end. Get it done properly," with an angry(?) expression on his face. As they got up to bow, Seungkwan continued to glare at Mingyu while Mingyu can be heard apologizing to the crowd with a hint of teasing in his voice, "My apologies~"
As the two members exited the stage through opposite ends, Mingyu let go of his end of the rubber band, sending it flying so that it hit Seungkwan's behind! Mingyu's jeering voice can be heard over the crowd, going, "Eigoo, Eigoo!"
Fans know that Seungkwan and Mingyu are the official Tom & Jerry pair of Seventeen, and found the pair's fight(?) performance both fun and unique! Comments included, "These two are seriously hilarious", "Seungkwan: politely refers to all of his other Seventeen hyungs as, hyungs. Seungkwan: forever refers to Mingyu, who is 1 year older as, Kim Mingyu. Kekekeke", "It's so funny always seeing Seungkwan trying to break the 'hyung' barrier with the Seventeen members, like he'll ask DK, 'Do you want to say we're just friends?' Kekekeke", "What are you two doing on stage kekekeke", "They played the 'cham cham cham' game in the middle of the dance kekekeke", "I wanna go to Carat Land too!! TT", and more!
