Seungri apologized to Yang Hyun Suk, and the YG Entertainment head responded to claims he deleted complaints from the Big Bang member.
Yang Hyun Suk posted the below text message exchange between himself and Seungri on January 17, and Seungri's message reads, "I'll put an end to the controversy. I'm sorry for everything. I wanted to be funny, and I think I went a bit overboard." The YGE head also posted a news article about how fans demanded he treat Seungri right as it was reported he was deleting comments about the lack of attention to Seungri's recent Hong Kong concert left on his Instagram.
The YGE head also wrote, "YG, Seungri, VIP," along with heart emojis in between, adding, "I've never deleted comments in my entire life. I wish everyone a happy new year." Seungri commented on the post, "YG Seungri VIP. Sir, I'll go to the 7th floor anytime. I love you. Forever," referring to Yang Hyun Suk's office location.
Fans of Seungri previously alleged Yang Hyun Suk hadn't given Seungri enough support in terms of backup dancers and a band at this 'The Great Seungri Tour 2019 Live' in Hong Kong.
