On November 30th, Yang Hyun Suk posted a screenshot of a chat between him and a YG employee. In the text, the employee wrote:
"Mr. President, Mnet's regulation committee has asked for a change regarding a scene in Mino's 'Fiancé' MV, one that shows him 'dancing with a female dancer' in the middle. I am reporting because Mnet has announced that the MV will only air if that scene gets replaced."
To the message, Papa YG wrote, "This is only an issue of not airing on Mnet, right?"
When the employee answered "Yes, Mr. President!", the CEO replied, "Politely tell them that they don't have to play the MV...inform them with respect." The employee answered as an affirmative.
With that conversation, Yang Hyun Suk added the following caption: "Why the 'Fiance' MV is a problem~ Now I know~".
Currently, YG Entertainment is not showing any intent on changing scenes in Song Min Ho's debut MV. As Papa YG has made it clear, this censorship rule only applies to Mnet at the moment.
I'm siding with YG here. They shouldn't change it, that's bs.
