Some netizens are missing the Japanese contestants from 'Produce 48' and also concerned about the former contestants feeling down after returning to their positions as part of Japanese girl group AKB48.
Some of the former 'Produce 48' contestants, including Takahashi Juri, Iwatate Saho, Nakanishi Chiyori, and Taniguchi Megu, were spotted at a recent AKB48 performance back in their element. However, netizens think that after "experiencing higher quality stages" on 'Produce 48', the contestants may have meltdowns "due to the difference in qualities of the stage environments."
Allegedly, some fan accounts claimed, "After the girls went back to Japan, they kept crying during their schedules TT. Miru even stopped doing handshake events."
Furthermore, netizens said, "Also the quality differences in styling is too drastic TT. They must be feeling so sad inside while getting hate [from Japanese fans who dislike Korea]."
Others added, "They must be so envious of Sakura and Nako, who put rest on their handshake schedules. Those handshake events are hard labor, they do it from morning to night", "I feel so bad for them. If they never got a taste of the other side it would be different, but it must be difficult, especially their ill-mannered fandom-wise", "I'm so sad Juri didn't make it", and more.
