On April 11, Changmin held a showcase for his first solo mini album 'The Bright Sky'. At the event, Changmin shared why he left Big Hit and launched a one-man agency, saying, "I worked with Big Hit for about 8 years. After my contract ended, I thought about moving to a different agency but I believed the company that understands and loves me the most is Big Hit."

He continued, "The biggest question I had was would another company give me this much affection and care in management like this agency. Sometimes albums don't do well but Big Hit still produced albums for because they had affection for me."
Changmin also said, "For the past 10 years, I've trained and promoted under JYP and Big Hit; the best agencies in Korea. I wondered what I could do with this experience and ended up launching a one-man agency The Bsky."
He added, "2AM members cheered me on when I went solo. Bang Si Hyuk encouraged me, saying, 'You need to do well since you made the decision'."
