On February 19, Mapo Police Department revealed Jung Sang Soo was detained for investigation. 

According to the police, a day earlier on the 18th, Jung Sang Soo got drunk and threatened a passerby in Hongdae. He used profane language and screamed at women who were already in deep fear at his violent manner. 

Jung Sang Soo has admitted to his violent actions to the police.

This is not the first time Jung Sang Woo has been investigated for drunk violence. Back in July 2017, Jung Sang Soo drove the wrong direction on a one-way street and started a fight with another driver. In the same month, the rapper got in a fight with a man requesting a photo.

Jung Sang Soo's contract with South Town Production came to an end in December 2017. The agency decided not to renew the contract with the artist due to his continuous violent acts that interfered his music production. 

In regards to Jung Sang Soo's latest drunk incident, South Town Production stated, "Even though our contract has come to an end, we find it greatly unfortunate how such an incident has occurred again when we wished him to resume promotions one day."
