Previously, it was announced that EXO's Lay is playing the role of the 'nation's producer' in the new Chinese idol survival program. It was also reported that Chinese K-Pop stars - GOT7's Jackson, Cosmic Girls' Cheng Xiao, and PRISTIN's Kyulkyung - are joining the show as the mentors.

The recently unveiled images revealed more details about 'Idol Producer'. As announced, Lay is the main MC of the show. Fellow SM Entertainment artist Super Junior-M's Henry is also appearing on the show as the vocal trainer. Jackson is confirmed to be the rap trainer while f(x)'s Victoria, Cheng Xiao, and Kyulkyung are the dance trainers. 

A total of 100 trainees will be auditioning on 'Idol Producer'. Rumors state that Fan Chengcheng, the younger brother of top actress Fan Bingbing, is one of the trainees on the show. 

'Idol Producer' is set to start airing on January 19.
