Lead actors Jin Goo, Go Jun Hee, A Pink's Eunji, Kim Sung Kyun, and Park Geun Hyung were present at the conference, and the press in attendance asked Eunji about the late SHINee member Jonghyun's passing.
Eunji said, "When I first heard the tragic news, I wanted it to be a lie. I wanted it to be a mistake. But it wasn't... I wasn't very acquainted with Jonghyun sunbae. We shared feelings as simply peers. We filmed together a few times, but we weren't close. Still, when I read the news, I shed tears."
She continued, "What's more frightening is that his parting letter was revealed yesterday, and a lot of my peers and friends in the industry empathized with the letter's contents. They said that they could understand those feelings of depression, and what it feels like for those feelings to eat you away. When I heard such from my peers, I thought, 'What if,' and it scared me. I pray that something like this will not happen again."
Lastly, Eunji shared, "We may feel frustrated about our inability to express ourselves freely at times, but I would like for the mood to always be open so that we can rely on our peers and our friends around us. We can't express the emotions that his family members or his group members may carry, but I believe that many peers feel the way I feel. I hope that the entertainment industry can become a healthy place in both body and mind, so that these things will never happen again."
