According to Nextshark, the Thailand version of the popular Korean cosmetic surgery show 'Let Me In' recently aired the story about 22-year-old Noppajit Monlin.
The young man revealed he has developed social anxiety disorder after frequently getting teased for his "ugly" appearance. Monlin avoided interacting with people and even friends due to anxiety. He had a deformed jaw and had issues while eating. At work, he would often hide and eat by himself to avoid getting teased by fellow co-workers.
After a long thought process, Monlin decided to undergo surgery on 'Let Me In Thailand'. The young man flew over to Korea and received procedures on his chin, forehead, eyes, and skin. He also received botox on his salivary glands, which fixed his drooling issues caused by his twisted chin.
The surgery and recovery process took a total of 3 months. The first thing Monlin did after recovering was visiting his mother. However, she failed to recognize him at first sight. Monlin then said, "Mom, do you remember me?" His mother, who often blamed herself for giving her son struggles, broke down in tears of joy.
Lastly, Monlin commented, "My life has improved so much. I used to get rejected due to my looks but that will no longer happen. Before surgery, people used to say my face is not normal and society did not accept me but now people look at me with different eyes. I made more friends and I'm very happy."
