Following the news on November 9, Park Ip Sun criticized the director and his relationship with Kim Min Hee via Instagram. With a photo of the two wearing 'couple rings', Park Ip Sun wrote, "A person who has absolutely no consideration for the abandoned wife wants to communicate with the audience with a production of art? I'm not saying you shouldn't love but you need to have human morals at least. How are you so confident after deeply stabbing another person's heart?"
