According to reports, SM Entertainment Japan has made an official statement to Girls' Generation's official Japanese fan club concerning the group's future and the reported leave of Sooyoung, Tiffany, and Seohyun.

"Thank you very much for your patronage of official Girls' Generation fan club SONE JAPAN. Girls' Generation members Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun have finished their contracts with SM Entertainment. Future Girls' Generation activities are being decided carefully by consulting with the members. There's no intention of disbandment at this time. We'll notify you about future SONE JAPAN activities once progress has been made. We apologize for causing you concern. Girls' Generation continues on, and thank you for being SONE JAPAN."
