Over the Chuseok holidays, KBS had showcased 7 pilot variety shows, 3 of which were accused of plagiarizing. 'Line Up' had already gone under fire for being the same thing as JTBC's 'Night Goblin'.
'I Came Alone' is also being accused of copying Channel A's 'Heart Signal'. The two variety shows are basically the same thing where young men and women stay together for a certain period of time and build a relationship while in-studio MCs comment on their budding romance. The only difference was that 'I Came Alone' took the couples to Japan while the 'Heart Signal' couples stayed in Korea.

'Let Me Sleep for One Night' is not only under fire for being incredibly rude overseas, but also for having the same idea as JTBC's 'Give Me a Meal' - the only difference between the show is that on 'Give Me a Meal', celebrities visit houses and ask for meals, and on 'Let Me Sleep for One Night', celebrities visit houses overseas to ask for a place to stay.
KBS has gone under fire various other times already. Their 'Superman is Back' has the same idea as MBC's 'Dad! Where Are You Going?', 'Immortal Song 2' has a similar idea as MBC's 'I Am a Singer'. Other copied shows include 'My Neighbor Charles' (JTBC's 'Abnormal Summit'), 'Mamado' (tvN's 'Grandpas Over Flowers'), and 'A Style For You' (MBC's 'My Little Television'). Most recently, 'The Unit' is basically a remake of 'Produce 101'.
Many viewers are accusing KBS of actually being worse than Chinese broadcasts who plagiarize, because at lease Chinese shows do not steal Korean viewers.
What do you think about all the shows being copied?
