Jung Hae In’s activity on social media has recently come under scrutiny.

Jung Hae In recently appeared on the MBC variety show 'Good Day,' where he showcased his chemistry as a member of the "88s" group alongside G-Dragon, Kim Soo Hyun, Im Si Wan, Kwanghee, and Lee Soo Hyuk. However, Kim Soo Hyun has been embroiled in a controversy with the family of the late Kim Sae Ron, who passed away in February.

The bereaved family has demanded that Kim Soo Hyun publicly acknowledge his romantic relationship with the deceased and issue an official apology. They have also continued to expose details about his private life, causing disruptions to his drama and advertisement schedules.

Amid this controversy, Jung Hae In’s social media activity has drawn attention as he continues to follow Kim Soo Hyun despite the unfolding events. Fans have urged him to unfollow Kim Soo Hyun, but he has remained silent on the matter. In contrast, Im Si Wan, after receiving persistent requests from fans, unfollowed all 80 accounts he previously followed, leaving only his agency's account.

This has sparked divided opinions among netizens. Some defended Jung Hae In, saying, "It's his personal connection, leave it alone," and "Why should fans dictate his friendships?" while others urged him to take action, commenting, "Please unfollow him for your own good," and "Whatever choice you make, we support you."

Meanwhile, 'Good Day' cast member Jo Se Ho also became a topic of speculation after rumors surfaced that he had unfollowed Kim Soo Hyun amid the controversy. He later clarified, "I never followed him in the first place."

On March 31, Kim Soo Hyun held a press conference and announced that he had filed a lawsuit against the bereaved family of Kim Sae Ron, an unidentified individual claiming to be her aunt and the operators of the YouTube channel Hoverlab (Garo Sero Research Institute). The lawsuit, citing defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act, seeks damages amounting to approximately 12 billion KRW (about 9 million USD).
