On April 2, Park Hyungsik shared his experiences of facing criticism and challenges while learning acting during his early career.
In the episode of tvN's variety show 'You Quiz on the Block,' Park, a member of the group ZE:A and actor, reflected on his journey.
When Yoo Jae Suk asked if he faced a lot of criticism on set, Park responded, "Since I didn't major in acting, I learned by facing challenges on set and had many shortcomings. Senior Yang Hee Kyung once asked me, 'Hyungsik, what’s the point of your lines?' and later gave me a lot of guidance. I learned through being scolded."
Park also shared that as a child, he often heard the words, "You have no talent." Despite this, he said, "Even though I knew that, my ears would turn red and my hands would shake, I still wanted to do well."
He further mentioned that his latest drama, 'Buried Hearts,' was a physically and mentally challenging one. "I don’t have many tricks, so while others practiced for 3 hours, I practiced for 6 hours. The only way was to work hard, even if I had to do it mindlessly," he explained, showing his determination and passion for acting.
