With just two episodes left, Director Kim thanked the viewers for tuning into the drama, "I would like to thank the viewers for watching 'Save Me'. I wanted to convey the message regarding the age of youth in this generation."
Q: Lim Sang Mi (Seo Ye Ji) wants to save 4 young people. Some are voicing on the inequality between Han Sang Hwan (Taecyeon) and Suk Dong Chul (Woo Do Hwan)'s roles during the second half of the series.
"It's all comes down to perspective really. Neither Sang Hwan and Dong Chul are shifting their weight on the other character. We tried to balance out their parts. Except Dong Chul can leave quite an impression, he is someone hard to find in real life."
Q: Taecyeon left for the army when the drama was still being aired. Were there any difficulties?
"The enlistment was decided from the very beginning. Though we did feel pressured to finish the series before Taecyeon left. Even before a week prior to his enlistment, Taecyeon took most of his time to focus on shooting for 'Save Me'. He worked really hard, and I am very thankful for that. If possible, I would like to work with him again after he returns from the military. Taecyeon is a sensible actor. He is very detailed and attuned when it comes to preparing for his character. He was able to decipher the changes in the script rather quickly; adapting to any kind of given situation. He has a great personality as well, lightening up the mood on set every time."
On September 4, Taecyeon enlisted in the military. He's currently participating in boot camp at the 9th Division of the army at Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
