According to an exclusive report on August 8 (KST), MBC will also be launching a new program aimed to revive idol groups who debuted but did not receive the spotlight.

One representative from the entertainment industry said, "Under the lead of Jung Chang Young PD, [MBC] will be creating a program where talented and well-known idols with producing capabilities will produce idol groups of their own. It is aiming for a November broadcast."

After Mnet's 'Produce 101' season 2 shown light on the possibilities of idols who failed to received the spotlight after their debut, KBS has announced the launch of a program to reboot such idols through 'The Unit', while YG Entertainment will also be working with Han Dong Chul PD, responsible for 'Produce 101' season 1, for another, similar program.

Contrary to the programs mentioned above, MBC's upcoming show will take on the format of current, well-known idols taking part in creating new idol groups, if the exclusive report turns out to be true. What do you think of this format?
