Si-fi/mystery film 'Lucid Dream' starring Go Soo, JYJ's Yoochun, Kang Hye Jung, and more isn't doing so hot in theaters after it's first week.
Premiered this past February 22, the film has garnered a measly 100,667 viewers total in the first week, not even making it in the top 10 viewed films of the week. Other films which premiered around the same time period include 'Single Rider' starring Lee Byung Hun, Gong Hyo Jin, and Sohee, and 'Bluebeard' starring Jo Jin Woong. 'Single Rider' has raked in 328,055 viewers, while 'Bluebeard', ranking at #1 in ticket reservations this week, raked in 567,741 viewers.
In particular, 'Single Rider' brought in approximately 155,436 viewers over the weekend alone, surpassing the total viewer count of 'Lucid Dream' easily.
It's suspected that Yoochun's series of scandals last year, as well as a scandal involving married actor Seol Kyung Koo, who also appears in 'Lucid Dream', involving an affair, led to the film's weak response. Those who have seen the film commented that "it was better than expected."
