Actress Moon Geun Young's condition has reportedly improved after her fourth surgery for compartment syndrome.
On March 3, Moon Geun Young's agency Namoo Actors stated, "Actress Moon Geun Young has completed her fourth surgery, and she's greatly improved. She was discharged from the hospital this afternoon. However, as she's gone through a number of surgeries, she needs continuous rest until she recovers. She plans to receive treatment and rest for now. We thank everyone who worried and supported her. She'll meet you all when she's healthy soon."
As previously reported, Moon Geun Young visited the hospital after experiencing severe pain in her right arm on February 1 and was diagnosed with compartment syndrome. The condition is caused by pressure buildup from internal bleeding or swelling of tissues, decreasing blood flow and depriving muscles and nerves of needed nourishment.
