The idol-turned-actress played the character named Yoo Jin Ah who loses all the money she saved up to a scammer. While in talks about her character with Asia Today, Sohee said, "Some people ask me how I can possibly relate to Jin Ah who lived a normal teenage life when I had not so normal teen years. Well, I think Jin Ah living alone by herself in Australia seemed similar to myself as Wonder Girls in the United States. I chose Jin Ah because I was able to relate to that."

Sohee talked more about her Wonder Girls days in the U.S., and said, "We were overseas by ourselves and we had to do everything by ourselves. Of course, there were staff and managers that helped us out but they were many things that we had to do ourselves. It made me think a lot about her (Jin Ah) desires to make money by herself in Australia and suddenly appear to surprise her parents. I think I felt and was able to relate to Jin Ah's loneliness."
'Single Rider' starring Lee Byung Hun, Gong Hyo Jin, and Sohee is hitting the theaters on February 22.
