Upon releasing their third mini album, 'Seventeen 3rd Mini Album Going Seventeen' last month, the group returned from their activities overseas to promote "Boom Boom" and marked their territory once back in South Korea.  With the release of their new album, the group swept music charts across the nation.

Also showing much popularity and recognition overseas, the group looks to have a positive outcome as seen in the December 2016 Gaon chart results.  Debuting exactly one year and eight months ago, Seventeen is quickly moving up the rankings for boy groups as their album sold more than 223,000 copies in December and they continue to gain much attention from the masses.

With each release getting more popular and more album sales, Seventeen is quickly approaching the ranks of the top tier boy groups.
