On January 23, LOEN Entertainment stated, "It is true IU and Jang Kiha have separated. They have decided to remain as good friends."  It was reported that the two began dating in October 2013 after IU made a guest appearance on SBS FM 'Jang Kiha's Power Radio.'  

Following the breakup, netizens flocked to Lee Jun Ki's Instagram page, commenting, "IU fans not allowed here!!" "I hope Lee Jun Ki is not tied into this in any way. IU and Lee Jun Ki do appear close, however, I don't think it's due to Jang Kiha's breakup."

Back on January 7, Lee Jun Ki revealed that he attended IU's concert in Hong Kong through his Instagram page, which IU followed on January 9 confirming she had gone to Lee Jun Ki's fan meeting, with a photo.

With all these rumors and speculation, Lee Jun Ki's agency released a statement that he is not dating IU.
