Who Wore It Better: Park So Dam vs. Song Hye Kyo

It's time for another elegant round of 'Who Wore It Better.' While every woman has a little black dress tucked away in their wardrobe, actresses Park So Dam and Song Hye Kyo take sexy to a whole new level with their lavish, long, black gowns. While the 'Jenny Packham' dress looks fabulous on both these ladies, only one can walk away the winner.

Park So Dam looks youthful and refreshing in her black gown at the 'Busan International Film Festival' on October 6th of this year. Her milky skin glows alongside the dark fabric and her short hair with a few strands over the ear looks quite playful and adorable. She accessorizes nicely using minimal makeup, stylish rings, and dark black nails to match.

Park So Dam's short hair style is complemented by her pearl earrings, as it adds more of a pristine look to this already expensive style. This dress reveals a lot of the shoulders and collar, which accentuates her long, thin neck, but the teardrop-shaped necklace, which is the key point here, helps to distract from the amount of skin shown while helping to further draw attention to her nice collarbone.

While Park So Dam went for trendy and chic, Song Hye Kyo followed through with the regal look while attending the 'Beijing International Film Festival' back in May of 2014. Her makeup isn't as plain as Park So Dam's, as she highlights her lips with a sweet nude pink and a bit of contouring with blush to highlight her nice cheek bones. The dress fits her body nicely, resembling a wedding day style to some extent.

Song Hye Kyo went down the same route as Park So Dam by exposing her shoulders. She, however, put her hair in a ponytail rather than donning a bob cut. Her long, silver gem earrings hang nicely and are also accompanied by a few colorful wristlets - which don't take away from her look. However, I still feel she is missing some sort of key element for this particular outfit. Song Hye Kyo still maintains a sense of maturity with this dress.

In the end, I have to crown Park So Dam the winner. She really does look like an elegant Cinderella in this dark dress. Her accessories are more exquisite and I like that she keeps her arms free of jewelry. She really wears the cut shoulders nicely, and a bit lower than Song Hye Kyo mind you. She also took into consideration decorating her neck, which stands out more than wristlets. Park So Dam may be young but she is able to carry this dress maturely and beautifully.
