The new platform will be called 'FanBook', a platform to directly maneuver the growth of fan art culture by allowing fan artists to create their own portfolios on the site, as well as allowing fans to visit the galleries of other individual artists. Soon after the launch, SM Entertainment also plans to expand the platform's services by incorporating optional marketing in the near future.
Ahead of 'FanBook's main launch, the label has put out a call for any talented fan artists brave enough, to submit their fan art for display! Submissions run from August 9 - 31, with the selected works being announced on September 7. Selected works will be put on display at both SM's COEX Artium and SM's Communication Center, with various prizes awaiting those lucky artists who become chosen.
You can visit the 'FanBook' site here for details on how to participate!
