During the conference, Miryo revealed the reactions of the people around her when she told them that she would be competing on 'Unpretty Rapstar.' The rapper said, "The reactions were mixed. They said even if I do well, I'd only move up to the semi-finals. The Brown Eyed Girls members like hip hop and they've been telling me to go on the show since a while back. In the beginning, JeA was supportive, and later Narsha cheered me on as well." 

Yook Ji Dam, who had appeared on season 1 of 'Unpretty Rapstar,' revealed that Jessi had imparted some sound advice to do her best this season. She revealed, "Before I appeared on the show, I contacted Jessi. She asked me if I'd be okay. She also gave me lots of advice," and determined, "I'm going to try my best on the show."
