Jessi posed for 'International bnt,' posing for different concepts ranging from feminine and sweet to sexy and tough.
In the interview, she said regarding the response to her current KBS 2TV variety show, 'Unnies' Slam Dunk,' "I was unable to monitor it even once because, honestly, I haven't even had the time to sleep these days. I'm happy that people seem to be enjoying it a lot. I felt burdened and was very nervous because it was my first time as a regular member of a variety show, but I plan to do my best."
Regarding her image as a 'ssenunni (strong unnie),' Jessi said, "I think what's more accurate is that I'm honest rather than strong. I always showed my image as is. I can't do anything about the outward image I show, but I want you to know that my personality itself is not strong."
She also relayed how she's able to be here now thanks to 'Unpretty Rapstar,' but she now wants to gradually cast aside that image to do the music she wants to do. Recently, she felt as if she had lost her identity regarding music, so had felt like she was tossed into chaos, but by refocusing on music, she wants to discover her identity once again. "It's been about twelve years since I debuted," she added. "It was a hard road coming here, but I always had confidence regarding music."
She also addressed the topic of many comedic programs and more attempting to mimic Jessi in the way she talks and acts. Jessi relayed, "Honestly, it's not the same at all. It's nice that they have interest in me and I left a deep impression in them, but I wish they would stop now."
