During the interview, member Seung Jun, who revealed that he first began as a trainee under Big Hit Entertainment, expressed affection toward the current members of BTS, saying, "At first, starting out as a trainee was hard. But because the trainees I was practicing with were so nice and friendly, I was able to get used to it pretty quickly."
Seung Jun further added, "Jungkook was a pretty boy ever since I first met him. He had white skin, and had a strong childish vibe. So back then, I thought to myself, 'Seoul boys are so good looking', but later I found out that he was from Busan (laughter). Because he's one of the first trainees I met, I still have a strong impression of him. My first trainee days started out at Big Hit, where a lot of the trainees were from the country, so everyone was nice and innocent."
After his days in Big Hit, Seung Jun also relayed that he had spent time at JYP before finally coming under his current label, YNB Entertainment. "Fellow KNK member In Seong and I left Big Hit at the same time, and that was a really hard time for the both of us. We couldn't handle the fact that we had to start from scratch all over again... and every time we moved companies, we learned a little more about being competitive," he stated.
It sounds like the KNK boys had to endure some tough times before finally earning the opportunity to debut as the group they are today! Best of luck to the group in all of their future activities!
