A Seven Seasons representative told Star News on March 8, "The aim of our protest against 'Zico Tint' is simply to get an apology. Many people mistakenly think that we are seeking money or trying to become the official model for the brand but that's not true. We simply want a proper apology from LG Household and Health Care."

The rep continued, "Money is definitely not our aim. We judged that it's wrong to use our artist's name for an entirely unrelated product, so we are requesting for the company that used [the artist's name] to apologize. People are saying that the company tried to approach us to apologize and we didn't accept it; that's not true either. There is no need for them to directly come to us to apologize. They can just use social media to say the five-letter word, 'Sorry.' But apparently that's too hard."
