The rumors may be true? Based on an exclusive report by The Fact, the popular female artist (called 'Miss C' in the report) who was suspected to be in involved in the prostitution business received a subpoena to undergo a thorough investigation. The Fact managed to capture pictures of the female artist appearing before court on March 15 around 7:50 p.m. (KST).
The suspect was summoned to appear at Supreme Prosecutors' Office of the Republic of Korea by 7 p.m.; however, she arrived 50 minutes late with her lawyer and a couple other acquaintances, her identity tightly hidden with an all black outfit consisting of a brimmed black hat, black mask, and an all-black outfit. In order to avoid any sort of attention, the suspect went into the building via an employee-only entrance.
The suspect, who was active until the end of last year, was linked to entertainment agency president Kang and employee Park in a report that came out back on March 4. Both Kang and Park were charged with violating the laws relating to prostitution and arrested.

Earlier this month, it was found out that the suspect received a total of 35,000,000 KRW (~$29,208 USD) from a Korean-American businessman identified as Choi.
An entertainment industry insider reportedly said, "It's worth noting that the celebrity in question was investigated as not just a testifier but as a suspect. I'm just afraid that this incident will shed a negative light on the entire entertainment industry."
When the suspect's past agency was contacted for comment, a rep of the agency claimed, "We found out belatedly that she was investigated for charges of prostitution. There are rumors that she retracted renewing her contract with us for fear that she'll damage the reputation of the company, but those rumors couldn't be farther from the truth."
