About becoming a university student, Yeo Jin Goo stated, "I'm excited to be able to put myself in an environment with my peers, who have the same interests as me, since I'll be majoring in acting... Ever since I was young, I've been surrounded by older people, and I haven't had many chances to meet up with peers my age. I want to know what kind of thoughts other people my age have these days."

On the most difficult time he's faced in his life, the actor revealed, "During puberty, my voice abruptly changed.
