A Korean media outlet recently conducted research to find out just which Hallyu stars had the most followers and shared its findings, listing them in descending order from most followers to the least. 

Currently, G-Dragon sits at the top of the hierarchy, with a whopping 6.93 million followers! In second place is Girls' Generation's Taeyeon with 5.53 million followers, and close behind her is EXO's 'happy virus' Chanyeol with 5.49 million. The top ten is chock full of EXO members, both current and former, including Baekhyun (4.96 million), Sehun (4.92 million), Luhan (4.2 million), and Tao (4 million). Taeyang (3.72 million) comes in at eighth place after the continuous, unbroken chain of EXO members, and then another EXO member, namely Lay, (3.4 million) slides back into the list. The top ten is completed with Super Junior's Donghae, who currently has 3.3 million followers. 

It's amazing to think about just how many people in the world are following K-Pop artists using social media, don't you think? Not even a decade ago, such a phenomenon wouldn't even have been imaginable!
