At the press conference for 'Unpretty Rapstar 2', the contestants gave their personal thoughts on competing on the highly popular and competitive rap show. Although pretty much all 11 contestants are highly anticipated, SISTAR's Hyorin and Wonder Girls' Yubin are especially so as they're from very popular girl groups.
Both of them revealed why they decided to go on the show, and what they could possibly gain and lose as contestants.
Yubin shared, "I thought that the rap I could do as a Wonder Girls member and the rap I could do on 'Unpretty Rapstar 2' was different and decided to take part. I want to show a variety of sides of myself through this show."
Hyorin revealed, "If you look at it, there's a lot I could lose (through this program). More than that though I wanted to rap, but there was no opportunity for me. There's my group image and a limit to what I can show. So even if I lose some things, I wanted to try."
She added, "But if I do well, I think there are things I can gain too. Rather than not trying because I could lose some things, I am taking part."
