Uhm Jung Hwa talked about being a female singer as well as her fellow hoobae Lee Hyori on the August 5th broadcast of MBC FM4U's 'Two O'Clock Park Kyung Lim'.
Uhm Jung Hwa revealed that Lee Hyori leans on her when she's going through a rough time, explaining, "When I was promoting, I didn't have anyone to lean on either. As a female singer and actress, it was a little hard at the time." She added, "I wanted to work harder as a female singer, but because of things like age, you have to worry whether things will end even if you don't want it to."
The veteran singer continued, "When I passed the age of 30, a lot of people told me that I should be singing ballads. I want to be someone my hoobaes can talk to."
In other news, Uhm Jung Hwa is starring in the upcoming film 'Miss Wife'.
