Singer Yeon Gyu Sung expressed his mourning for the passing of the fellow singer, who he was close with.
Yeon Gyu Sung wrote a message on his Facebook earlier today, lamenting, "Do Eun Young, who was a great singer, whom I really cherished and loved, passed away yesterday (August 3). We've been singing together since Audition Box and for a new start she remade my track 'Sad Song,' had even recorded and shot the MV for it, and was just waiting to announce it. When I saw her just a couple days ago, she was smiling brightly and we recorded together; it's hard to believe [that she's gone]."
The singer also asked that people pray for Do Eun Young's safe passage to the afterlife, beseeching, "Those who adored and loved Eun Young, please pray that she will pass on comfortably. Her funeral will be at Anyang's Sam Hospital. Today is a tragic day."
Do Eun Young had debuted with "I'll Pray," the OST for the 2005 MBC drama 'Be Strong, Geum-soon!' and released her digital album 'Carmen' in 2007. In 2012, the singer had appeared on TV for tvN's audition program 'Super Diva 2012,' rising to the quarterfinals.
Let's hope that the singer is resting at a better place.
